About Our Data
BIS Scoring
The Brightcast Intelligence System (BIS) scores every article on a 0–100 positivity scale. It evaluates evidence quality, real-world impact, solution focus, and scale of positive change. Only articles scoring above 25 are published.
Aggregation
Category engagement and reading patterns use a rolling 30-day window. Hope Index history covers 90 days. All metrics are recomputed every 6 hours.
Privacy
No personally identifiable information is collected or exposed. All statistics are aggregate counts and averages. Individual reading behavior is never tracked in this dataset.
