Emma Heming Willis, wife of actor Bruce Willis, has been a strong advocate since his frontotemporal dementia diagnosis. She works to raise awareness about dementia, not just for Bruce but for millions of others affected.
On March 12, Emma made a big announcement at the Association for Frontotemporal Degeneration's Hope Rising Benefit in New York. She launched the Emma & Bruce Willis Fund for Dementia Research and Caregiver Support, according to People.

Emma hopes the fund will help people better understand FTD. She also wants families facing the disease to feel seen, supported, and less alone. She added that Bruce has always been generous and would be proud to see this effort help families.
Emma previously shared with People that she felt driven to write her book, The Unexpected Journey. She said she wrote the book she wished she had received when Bruce was diagnosed. Caregiving is tough, and many do it without much support. She feels that helping others feel less alone is how she can get through this experience.
