Most people board a flight, spot a baby, and immediately start calculating their chances of a peaceful journey. Fair enough. But on a recent Southwest flight to Las Vegas, the baby in question was making a rather special entrance.
Meet Noah, 7 months old, veteran of 29 flights, and on this particular day, sharing the cockpit — or at least the plane — with his dad, Sean. Who also happened to be the pilot. His first flight with Dad at the controls. Let that sink in.

Sean, clearly beaming, made a pre-flight announcement that probably melted a few hearts (and definitely preempted any fussiness complaints). “The cool part, at least for me, is that it’s the first time he’s been on the plane while his dad is the pilot,” he told the cabin.

Which, for a 7-month-old, is a pretty solid commitment. The chuckles from the passengers were audible.
Sean proudly declared, “This is the love airline. This is the family airline. And this is the fun airline. That’s what we’re doing today on the way to Vegas.” Because apparently, that's where we are now: flying the friendly skies with a literal family affair.
And just when you thought it couldn't get any more adorable, he then introduced his wife, Hannah, who is also a pilot for Southwest. So, Noah isn't just a frequent flyer; he's practically got his own flight crew.
The video of Sean’s announcement quickly went viral, prompting a wave of comments. One person rightly pointed out, “Wow, both parents are pilots. That baby has already been on more flights than I ever did in my entire life!” Another, clearly thinking ahead, quipped, “So when the plane is landing and that baby starts crying, take it up with the pilot.”
Many suspect Noah is destined for the skies himself, perhaps ferrying passengers to Vegas in a couple of decades. Given his current flight log, he's already got a head start on his pilot's license. Just try to keep him grounded.
