If you don’t remember Uncle Jesse singing his vows to Aunt Becky at their 1991 wedding, were you even alive? OK, maybe that’s a bit dramatic, but the Donaldson/Katsopolis wedding on Full House is one of those TV moments that millions remember. Particularly because Uncle Jesse performed Forever for the love of his life. It seems like now more than ever, we need a good dose of wholesome nostalgia every once in a while.
John Stamos understands. He recently joined the Beach Boys for a performance at EPCOT and treated the crowd to a performance of Forever. It brought back all the fabulous feels. John told the crowd that as a kid, he’d never imagined he would ever have the career he does, and he’s so thankful to his fans for making all of his dreams come true. “And as someone who grew up in the Full House era, this was a core memory unlocked moment,” an Instagram caption reads. “My oldest swears she was born in the wrong decade because everything she loves is straight out of the 80s and my childhood… so when she saw this clip, she literally screamed.” Fans love the John Stamos moment with the Beach Boys.
“I’ll always stop scrolling to hear this! It melts my heart every time,” a fan wrote. “Thank you for sharing. *sigh* Uncle Jesse,” another person shared.
“I was there. And it was surreal. It was something my soul needed without knowing I needed it,” a lucky fan wrote. “I would’ve been CRYING!!!!!!” A fan admitted.
Sadly, it sounds like John Stamos and the Beach Boys only performed Forever once. “This must have been the last show on the first day – we made the second and he didn’t play this,” a fan wrote.
