Well, well, well. It seems the royal family drama might be getting a slight rewrite. After what can only be described as a rather public and prolonged estrangement, King Charles is reportedly extending an olive branch — in the form of actual real estate.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are apparently planning a trip across the pond to the UK this July. And according to People magazine, Papa Charles has offered them a royal residence for their stay. Because apparently, that's how you say "let's talk" when you live in a palace.

Now, Harry has, in the past, politely declined similar offers. So, whether he'll take the king up on this particular invite is still TBD. One can only imagine the internal family WhatsApp group right now.

The big question, of course, is whether the kids will actually get to meet the other royals. King Charles has only met his grandchildren once, back in 2022. Which, if you think about it, is both impressive and slightly heartbreaking.
Security, or the lack thereof for Harry in the UK, has been a major sticking point in the past. It’s a bit of a Catch-22: come visit, but you’re on your own. Given the circumstances, it's not exactly a trivial detail.
Harry, for his part, has voiced a desire to mend fences. "I would love reconciliation with my family. There’s no point in continuing to fight anymore," he told the BBC. "Life is precious. I don’t know how much longer my father has. He won’t speak to me because of this security stuff, but it would be nice to reconcile."
