Well, it seems The Kelly Clarkson Show is bowing out with a bang, not a whimper. The talk show, which has been a daytime staple since 2019, just snagged a whopping 11 Daytime Emmy nominations. Let that satisfying number sink in.
That's the most nominations for any talk show this year, which is a pretty impressive mic drop for a show in its final season. Because, yes, Kelly Clarkson announced back in February that the seventh season would be its last. Apparently, she's decided to pivot to focusing on her children, River and Remington, after the passing of her ex-husband, Brandon Blackstock.

But before she hangs up her daytime talk show hat, the Emmys are calling. Kelly herself heard the news while rehearsing in Vegas — which, if you think about it, is a very Kelly Clarkson way to get major news. She quickly hit up Instagram to share the love:
We're a new kind of news feed.
Regular news is designed to drain you. We're a non-profit built to restore you. Every story we publish is scored for impact, progress, and hope.
Start Your News Detox"Thank y'all so much! I'm so stoked for our whole team and feeling very blessed," she wrote. The comments, as you might expect, immediately turned into a digital confetti cannon of congratulations.
Fans were quick to praise the show's "supernova" team and declare it the "best show in daytime!" Because even when you're saying goodbye, it's always better to go out on top, surrounded by shiny awards and a chorus of appreciative fans. It's the kind of exit strategy most of us can only dream of.
