The Americans, who haven't lost a World Cup game since 2006, faced a tough challenge from France. They were down by two points at halftime. However, the USA team stepped up in the third quarter, outscoring France 30-12.
USA's Comeback Victory
Breanna Stewart led the USA with 22 points. Jackie Young added 18 points, including four three-pointers. Caitlin Clark, who scored only one point in the semifinal, contributed 12 points in the final, with two threes. These efforts extended USA's winning streak in the tournament to 36 games.
