James Blair, a military veteran, shows up to work every day at John Wayne Airport in Orange County. Walking isn't easy for him, but he's there, doing his job.
Then, one day, LaCinda filmed him. Eight seconds of video, posted to TikTok. Not to mock, but to help.

"Does anyone know this man at the John Wayne Airport?" she wrote. "Watching him work so hard, he could barely move, barely walk truly broke my heart. I know there has to be a way we can help him retire."

Start Your News DetoxTurns out, a lot of people knew him. Or, at least, they knew that feeling.
The Internet Steps In
LaCinda's video took off, racking up 5.8 million views. More importantly, it connected her with James. And then she did what the internet does best when it's feeling generous: she started a GoFundMe.
"I don’t know his full story yet. I don’t know why he’s still working," she wrote. "But I do know this: no one at that stage of life should have to."
Her goal was simple: give James a chance to rest, to ease the burden of working when his body clearly wanted to retire. She wanted him to know his hard work wasn't going unnoticed.
And the internet delivered. Last count? Over $135,000 raised. Because sometimes, all it takes is eight seconds and a little kindness to change a life.
