Brittany used Facebook to find Richard. She learned that he and his wife, Brenda, were retired. Richard was doing DoorDash to earn extra money. Seeing this sweet elderly man struggle to carry a bag to her door moved Brittany. She decided to start a GoFundMe to help him.

"With the help of social media I was able to track down Richard and learned he does DoorDash due to his wife being fired from her job (at no fault of her own) and by the time they pay their monthly expenses plus purchase their medication there is nothing left."

She added, "Let’s help Richard go back into retirement!!"
In just a few days, the fundraiser collected over $800,000.
"I don’t know. It’s just I love this man," Brittany told WSMV.
Brenda and Richard were very thankful for the help. "She’s remarkable. I just can’t believe that someone would be that caring to set this up for us," Brenda said.
