Picture this: You're at & Juliet on Broadway, ready for a nostalgic sing-along with Joey Fatone. You're mentally prepping your best early-2000s moves for "It's Gonna Be Me." You're thinking, this is pretty great.
Then, out of nowhere, another NSYNC legend — Lance Bass himself — bursts onto the stage. Because apparently, that's where we are now. The crowd, naturally, lost its collective mind.

Joey, mid-performance, looked like he'd just seen a unicorn riding a unicycle. The two friends shared a massive hug, finished the song, and sent the entire theater into a frenzy that probably registered on the Richter scale. Lance later quipped on Instagram that he'd been at another show nearby and simply couldn't let his buddy down. Which, if you think about it, is both impressive and slightly terrifying.

Start Your News Detox"That girl screaming 'omg' over and over is all of us," one person commented on the official & Juliet Broadway Instagram post. Because, yes, it was. Many fans, predictably, immediately started campaigning for a full NSYNC reunion. (Fingers crossed, but don't hold your breath.)
Lance's own Instagram video detailed his heroic journey, joking about nearly becoming one with six different New York City taxis just to make it. "The things I do for you Fatone…" he wrote. A fan, clearly inspired by this level of dedication, then offered a new gold standard for friendship: "My new measurement of friendship 'Would you risk being hit by 6 NYC taxis to show up?'"
So, if you ever needed proof that some friendships are truly built to last, even across a crowded Broadway stage and several near-death taxi experiences, well, here it is. Some bonds, it seems, are just too strong to break. Even for traffic.
