For the first time in a decade, Donna Kelce isn't watching her sons play in the NFL playoffs. Jason retired from the Philadelphia Eagles in 2024, and Travis and the Kansas City Chiefs missed the postseason for the first time since 2014.
But Mama Kelce isn't sitting idle. As the mother of two Super Bowl champions, she's spent years perfecting the art of game day food — the kind that keeps a crowd fueled and happy through every quarter. This year, she's channeling that expertise into judging Pillsbury's annual Bake-Off Contest, a competition that asks home bakers to transform simple dough into something worth talking about.
"I've spent a lot of time in the stands and on the sidelines, so I know that game day food has to keep up with the excitement," Kelce said in a statement. "You need something easy, crowd-pleasing, and packed with flavor so you can get right back to the action." She and the Pillsbury Dough Boy recently revealed the four finalists in this year's Sweet vs. Savory showdown.

"The Pillsbury Bake-Off Contest has always celebrated the creativity of home bakers who turn everyday moments into something special," said Michelle Odland, VP and Business Unit Director for Pillsbury at General Mills. "Our final contenders really ran with this year's theme and brought that game day spirit."
The winner will be announced on January 29. For Kelce, the shift from sideline to judge's table feels natural — she's been evaluating what works at game time for years. Now she gets to crown someone else's creation as the MVP.
