But a clever group in Barmer had an idea: take old tin cans, cut openings in them, and fill them with water. Instant birdbaths! They placed these under trees, keeping the water cool and giving thirsty birds a vital spot to drink and splash.

This small act of kindness was too good to keep quiet. An Indian Forest Service officer, Parveen Kaswan, shared a photo of one of these DIY birdbaths on X (then Twitter). It exploded online.
