A new gadget called the Luxo aims to combine several tools into one. This multi-function flashlight includes lighting, an arc lighter, and emergency features. It is designed to be compact and easy to carry.
The Luxo is made from aluminum alloy and ABS. It weighs just 60 grams and measures 75 x 35 x 18.5 mm. It can fit in a pocket, clip to a backpack, or hang from a keyring.
Lighting and Emergency Features
The Luxo has two main light options: cool white and soft warm light. The cool white is good for daily use and finding lost items. The soft warm light works better in foggy or low-visibility conditions. Both offer three brightness levels, up to 300 lumens.

The red, blue, and alternating red/blue LEDs are specifically for signaling. There is also a loud emergency alarm that gives both sound and visual alerts. The side white/warm LED can be used for reading or working in dim light.
For hands-free use, the Luxo has a strong magnet on its base. This lets it stick to metal surfaces. This feature is useful during power outages or as a temporary light source.
Arc Lighter and UV Light
The Luxo includes a dual arc igniter. This can light cigarettes, candles, campfires, or small materials quickly without fuel. It works even in windy or humid conditions. For safety, the igniter only works when its cover is open and turns off automatically after five seconds.
Beyond its flashlight and lighter functions, the Luxo also has a UV light mode. This can detect fluorescent substances that are not visible to the eye. It can be used to check banknotes, identify anti-counterfeiting marks, and for "basic cleanliness inspection."
The Luxo is powered by an 800-mAh rechargeable battery. It can run for up to 40 hours on a single 1.5-hour charge.
