If the only thing you remember from Jerry Maguire is that a human head weighs 8 pounds, then prepare to have your own head blown. Because Jonathan Lipnicki, the pint-sized actor who delivered that iconic line and stole hearts nearly 30 years ago, is all grown up. He's a married father of three, still acting, and his next role is decidedly not about cute kids.
Lipnicki is set to appear in Williston, a psychological thriller that sounds like it was cooked up in a very dark corner of North Dakota. He'll be starring alongside Matt Walsh and Geneva Carr, trading adorable quips for, well, moral ambiguity and deep hatred.
According to Lipnicki's Instagram, the film follows "three landmen who descend on Williston, North Dakota, to secure the rights to the last remaining undeveloped parcel of land—owned by a Native American man who harbors a deep hatred for the oil industry." So, less "show me the money," more "show me the profound existential dread."
