The tool company IF has launched its third wrench-based multitool, the OmniPro Wrench 3.0. This new version combines features from its two earlier models and adds new functions.

Everyday carry (EDC) tools often struggle to balance being small enough to carry and big enough to be useful. The OmniPro Wrench 3.0 aims to hit a sweet spot between these two extremes.

Evolving Design and New Features

The first OmniPro model focused on being compact. The second version added more functions. For the 3.0, the creators listened to feedback from previous users. They added a better grip, an extension rod, a protected blade groove, and a fully integrated magnetic system.

The 3.0 tool packs 15 functions into a small body. It measures 104.5 x 46 mm (4.11 x 1.81 in) and weighs 174 g (6.14 oz). Its features include a magnetic pen, ruler, #11 scalpel blade, bottle opener, ceramic-bead glass breaker, bit driver, caliper, and an adjustable wrench that opens 0-18 mm.

The tool's design is unique. It has many parts that move, rotate, twist, extend, and change into different tools.

The OmniPro Wrench 3.0 also has modular storage for six different-sized bits and eight tritium slots. Both the extension rod and bit storage use a magnetic snap-and-lock system. Other accessories like the pen, bit drivers, bit storage, and ratchet holder also attach magnetically.

The 3.0 is made from CNC-machined titanium

The ratchet can work in both directions and be set at three different angles. Older versions required removing the ratchet head to change direction. The new version has a quick-switch mechanism.

Users also asked for an extension rod, which helps reach tight spots. The bottle opener has moved to the rear of the tool, away from the wrench jaws. This improves grip and stability. The #11 scalpel blade on the side now has a finger groove, making it safer to use.

Backers can choose between Sandblasted Titanium and Black PVD finishes

The tool is made from Grade 5 titanium and is CNC machined. This means it has no sharp edges or rough spots. It can be carried in a pocket or on a belt with a separate leather case. It comes in Sandblasted Titanium and Black PVD finishes.
