If you're looking for a tiny house that stays put but offers plenty of space, the Samuel might be a good choice. This home is designed for long-term living.

Craft House, based in Poland, Austria, and Ireland, designed the Samuel. It's made with engineered wood and metal. At 10 meters (32 feet) long and 3.2 meters (10.6 feet) wide, it's much larger than most tiny houses in Europe. This extra size creates a very open and roomy interior, which is rare for tiny homes that can be towed.

Inside the Samuel

The ground floor of the Samuel is 26 square meters (280 square feet). A large living room with a high ceiling takes up most of this space. It has big sliding glass doors that open to the outside. The living room includes a sofa bed for two people and an entertainment center. Its wooden interior gives it a cozy, cabin-like feel.

The kitchen is next to the living room. It has a sink, an induction cooktop, an oven, a fridge/freezer, and even a dishwasher. A breakfast bar provides a seating area.

Behind the kitchen is the bathroom. It's quite large for a tiny house. It features a shower, a vanity sink, and a washer/dryer. A floating toilet, where the bowl is mounted to the wall and the plumbing is hidden, adds a high-end touch.

The main bedroom is on the opposite side of the home from the living room. Being on the ground floor means you can stand up straight in it. It has a double bed, a wardrobe, and extra storage.

The Samuel also has a second bedroom in a mezzanine loft. You reach it using a unique folding staircase. This staircase can be put away when not in use. This design allows for a much more open living room than typical stairs with built-in storage. The loft bedroom has a low ceiling and space for a double bed and some storage.
