The Thaircamper is a new inflatable truck camper. It weighs only 180 pounds (81.6 kg). This makes it much lighter than most traditional truck campers.
The camper inflates in about five minutes. It can sleep three to four people. This makes truck camping easier, lighter, and more affordable.
Design and Features

The Thaircamper uses strong PVC drop-stitch material, similar to inflatable paddleboards. This material creates a fully enclosed living space. It includes a floor, a door, and an alcove that extends over the truck's cab.

An included lithium battery pump inflates the camper quickly. A hand pump is also provided as a backup. The inflated camper looks like a classic truck camper. It has a low alcove and a body that fits inside the truck bed.

Inside, there are two side benches over the wheel wells. A 6-inch (15-cm) mattress on the floor sleeps one or two people. The cabin is 62.5 inches (159 cm) high, which is good for sitting.
The 18-inch (46-cm) benches can sleep a child. Inflatable bunks are available to make the sleeping surface wider. The alcove can also be used as an upper bed for a child or adult.
Optional inflatable mattresses can be added. A large 76 x 76 x 6-inch (193 x 193 x 15-cm) mattress uses the benches for support. A smaller 75 x 50 x 6-inch (191 x 127 x 15-cm) double mattress is also available.

Camping and Travel
The Thaircamper can stay inflated and attached to the truck while driving between campsites. This is different from inflatable tents that need to be set up at each stop. A single person can install it by leaning it against the tailgate and sliding it into the truck bed.

Alternatively, the camper can be stored deflated to reduce drag while driving. It can then be inflated and installed at the campsite in about 15 minutes. When the trip is over, it deflates for easy removal and storage.
The inflatable shell offers some insulation. An integrated HVAC port allows for air conditioning or heating. Windows have screens, weatherproof panels, and inflatable blackout panels that double as overhead shelves.
Considerations and Availability

One challenge with inflatable designs is adjusting air pressure for temperature changes. Hot weather requires lower pressure to allow for expansion. Thaircamper includes deflation buttons at each valve for quick adjustments. A puncture repair kit is also included.
The Thaircamper is available for many popular pickup trucks, including the Ford F-150, Chevy Silverado, and Toyota Tacoma. It has a promotional price of $2,895, with a standard retail price of $3,795. Future add-ons include a 270-degree awning and an inflatable bathroom with a shower and toilet.
