The WEGoT Aqua Innovation
The founders created WEGoT Aqua, an IoT-powered system. It measures, monitors, and manages water use in real time. This helps homes reduce waste before it becomes a bigger issue.
WEGoT Aqua uses IoT-enabled ultrasonic sensors. These sensors accurately measure water flow and send data to the cloud continuously. This is different from older turbine-based water meters.
Older meters often miss small leaks, air flow, and even water theft. WEGoT's ultrasonic technology finds these problems in real time, allowing for quicker action.
How It Works
Wireless sensors attach to water pipelines and measure flow every second. This information goes to the cloud and appears instantly on the WEGoT mobile app.
Residents can check their daily water use and compare trends. They can also spot unusual usage and get alerts without checking a physical meter.
If a leak or abnormal water use is found, users get an immediate notification. They can then shut off the water supply remotely through the app.
The platform also helps facility managers. They can estimate storage needs, optimize overhead tanks, and find inefficient plumbing before it wastes more water.
The founders say their technology can cut water consumption by about 30% to 50%. It also lowers maintenance costs and the electricity used for pumping water.
Growing Impact
Today, WEGoT has helped over 70,000 homes and 40 million square feet of commercial space. They are all monitoring and managing water more efficiently.
