A new push is making sure vital environmental stories from Africa get told. In 2023, Mongabay launched a special Africa bureau. It's all about sharing environmental news from across the continent, in both French and English.

Juliette joined Mongabay to lead their multimedia team and run a fellowship program. She's spent over ten years working on African issues, including time in Côte d’Ivoire and Togo. She's done it all: reporting, writing, shooting video, producing, and directing for big names like BBC News.
